About
Songware is a song lyrics library software that was packaged together with songs found in the Seventh-day Adventist hymnal and also other chorus songs that are sung in Christian churches in Papua New Guinea. The interface is simple, it calls up the hymns and songs in PowerPoint presentations. It can ONLY be installed on a WINDOWS machine.

We don’t own any of those hymns nor the chorus songs. The system developer and the author of this document is not liable for any legal implications in the use of this software and its installation. It’s the full responsibility of the user and its church if they agree to use it. We only saw the hassle to open each of the PowerPoint presentations of the songs one at a time so packaged it all together. Again the developer is not liable for any data loss (wordings in the songs, misspellings) or modification of the songs, mismanagement, information theft, public presentations or any legal obligation in any case. All data protection and song distributions, management and support are outside the scope of the development work (packaging) done on voluntary missionary responsibility basis and the user is fully responsible for it. The installation and use of the songs must be done in adherence with the legal implications and liability.
Installation process
Follow the following steps to do the installation of Adventist Songware on your computer.
Check to make sure that MS Office of any version must be installed in your local PC. If not, you can’t proceed to do the installation of Adventist Songware. MS Office must be installed first!
Check your System Type by the following;
Go to your computer settings as shown, yours may be different, and select system settings;
In your system settings find the about tab as show below and click on it to go into your about settings;
The next screen that shows is similar to the following. This will display the “System Information” of your computer.
Get the “System Type” information. It should be either 64-Bit Operating System or 32-bit operating system. (In rare cases, the system type would be 86 bit OS, that is same as 32-bit OS)
As in the above, it is a 64-bit Operating System.
Complete the form below by fill-in your name, email and church name. Click download and proceed to the download page. Select either 32bit or 64bit and download. In this case it is 64bit.
Open the file and select the release folder. Inside the release folder, double-click on the Setup file. Then proceed to do the installation.
The rest is just clicking through, and doing the installation. If you wish to have the application be accessed by anybody logging into the PC, specify all when prompted in one of those installation status screens.
Important Note:
If you’re doing the installation on a PC that is on a network controlled by a Network Administrator, or that you don’t have the necessary administrator access to do the installation, then a prompt for administrator access will be presented. If you know the login details, enter them and proceed to do the installation. Otherwise, get your system administrator to do the installation on your behalf.
